1st Cabinet Meeting
This year’s meeting will feature a patriotic theme and will bring together Lions leaders and members from across the district for fellowship, leadership development, and service planning.
As part of the event, attendees are encouraged to participate in a silent auction benefiting Texas Lions Camp, which provides life-changing camp experiences for children with special medical conditions and disabilities. In addition, Gilmer Texas Lions Club will host a fan drive supporting the Upshur County Meals on Wheels program to assist local seniors during the Texas summer heat.
A barbecue lunch prepared by the Gilmer High School Barbecue Team will be served during the event. The cost is $25 per person and may be paid by Venmo, check, or at the door.
