Honoring a Legacy of Service

The District 2-X2 Hall of Fame Award recognizes Lions whose lifelong commitment to service has left a lasting impact on their clubs, communities, and the mission of Lions Clubs International. Each year, five exceptional Lions are honored for their dedication to Lionism and their unwavering commitment to serving others.

This award celebrates not only years of service, but the leadership, integrity, and heart that define what it means to be a Lion.

Recognizing Excellence in District 2-x2

The District 2-X2 Hall of Fame Award is one of the district’s highest honors. It is presented annually to five Lions who exemplify the values of Lions Clubs International through outstanding service, leadership, and community involvement. These individuals represent the very best of Lionism and serve as role models for current and future Lions.

Nominate a Member

Hall of Fame recipients are selected based on their demonstrated commitment to Lions service, leadership within their club and district, and meaningful contributions to their communities. Nominees should reflect the highest standards of Lionism and a sustained record of service over time.

AWARD CRITERIA
  • Nominees must be in good standing and reside in the district. Nominations must be made by the nominees’ home club. Any member, active or deceased, nominated must be a member in good standing in District 2-X2 for at least 5 years.
  • Nominations of inductees for the District Hall of Fame shall be submitted to the Club’s Zone Chairperson by December 1 of each eligible year.
  • The Zone Chairperson will forward the recommendations to the First VDG for approval by January 1.
  • The final selection by the District Governor’s committee will be made 5 days prior to the Mid-Winter Conference.
  • Cost of the Hall of Fame award will be billed to the nominating club.
  • Any inductee into the Texas Lions Hall of Fame will automatically become a member of the District Hall of Fame.
  • Proper presentation ceremony should take place at the District Conversation.
  • Solicitation in any manner for this recognition will automatically eliminate the soliciting candidate for that year.
